We’ve got our hands on four electric cars with the longest claimed range, and to put it to the test, we’re going to drive them until their batteries are completely flat! Let’s take a look at today’s selection. Mat starts off in the Ford Mustang Mach-E. It has a claimed range of 375 miles (599 km), and a 91 kWh battery. This model costs around £59,000 today. Next up is the BMW iX: It has a claimed range of 375 miles (612 km), and the iX 50 version featured in today’s video has 108 kWh batteries. This car will set you back around £100,000! Third in the selection is the updated Tesla Model 3 Long Range. It has 79 kWh batteries and a claimed range of 385 miles (626 km). It’s also the cheapest model in the bunch, at around £50,000. And the last model is the Mercedes EQS. Thanks to its 108kWh batteries, it has the longest claimed range of 457 miles! So the question is: how close will its real-world range be to that claimed?
