Welcome to Tafí del Valle, a beautiful town in the heart of the Calchaquí Valley. It is located in the province of Tucumán and it is definitely worth spending a few days in this town known for its natural beauty, its mild climate and its mountainous landscapes. What to do in Tafí del Valle? Visit El Mollar, its La Angostura dam and the open-air museum of Los Menhires. Take provincial route 325 that goes through the valley to enjoy the trekking towards the Muñoz canyon and also to make a strategic stop at the Bar de Don José. And if you like trekking at altitude, you can do an unmissable one called Sendero El Pelao, where you will pass by the Cerro de la Cruz and know that it has a certain level of difficulty so go early because of the midday heat and bring water. There are two trails, one of 5 km and the longest of 9. Don't forget to have some Tucuman empanadas with a beer for lunch and then walk through some regional restaurants. And to end the afternoon, some mates at sunset by the river. I continue touring Argentina, Thank you for following and sharing my trip ????????????
