Maybe you have been to facilities such as Włodarz, Osówka or Rzeczka. You need to know that there may be many more such undergrounds hiding secrets. We are conducting excavation work under sapper supervision in a place where there may be an entrance to hypothetical, post-German undergrounds from World War II. Search at ul. Wiejska in Kamienna Góra in Lower Silesia are being conducted in a place where scientists from the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków previously conducted non-invasive research, which revealed a strong anomaly. Non-invasive research suggests that there may indeed be a space that for some reason was either filled in or shot out. We are meeting to check and verify this - says Maciej Regewicz, host of the "History Hiking" channel. The search is being conducted at the initiative of the "History Hiking" YouTube channel. It is not about looking for a new gold train here. Maybe we will find something that will be a new point on the map of attractions in Kamienna Góra. It would not hurt if we discovered more secrets - said the mayor of Kamienna Góra, Janusz Chodasewicz. Numerous search groups are involved in the project: the "Grupa Warowna Bastion" Association, the Szczecin Underwater Exploration Group "Gryf", the Underground World Through the Eyes of a Blacksmith and the guides of the "Arado" tourist route. The fact that the results of microgravimetric studies developed by prof. dr hab. Sławomir Porzucek from the AGH University of Science and Technology are so optimistic - of course with the reservation that we are still talking about a hypothetical object - convinced us that it is worth devoting work and time to examining the area - emphasized Mateusz Kudla, director of the "History Hiking" channel. On the first day of the search, we wanted to verify as much information as possible that we received in the results of non-invasive studies. We made a test excavation of the meadow that is located here, which could confirm the existence of a possible adit. The second most promising lead is the excavation that we are currently digging with two large excavators - says Grzegorz Kowal, explorer and author of the channel Underground world through the eyes of Kowal. The search is being conducted under the supervision of the sapper of the TNT Maciej Wolny company due to concerns that the potential tunnel could have been mined or that it could have been a military facility. Therefore, we expect that there may be duds or explosives. At the moment, fortunately, we haven't come across anything like that - says Artur Spychaj, president of the Grupa Warowna Bastion Szczecin Association. Although the search for the adit is carried out up high, divers are also on site. If the hypothetical adit turns out to be flooded, I will be the last one to enter it, because I will be the only one who will enter it - jokes Jacek Kowalewski, diver, president of the Szczecin Underwater Exploration Group GRYF. - Diving in such an adit would be easy and difficult at the same time, because there is a lot of coal dust here. Unskilled movement in such an adit could result in loss of visibility - he adds. The search will continue until Friday. It is possible that it will be extended.
