Hello everyone! In this vlog we share with you our two-day adventure through Zurich, the largest city in Switzerland, the imposing Mount Titlis and the charming city of Lucerne. On the first day we took a train from Bern to Zurich, where after dropping off our bags, we began our journey through the historic center. Here we admired the medieval and Renaissance architecture of the city. We walked down Bahnhofstrasse, Zurich's most famous shopping street, where we found luxury shops and exclusive boutiques. We visited the Grossmünster, a cathedral with two twin towers that offers stunning views of the city, and other important churches. And in the afternoon, we strolled through the Lindenhof, a park overlooking the Limmat River and Lake Zurich. Seeing that there weren't many things we wanted to do in the city, we looked for an adventure nearby, and found the best plan for our second day: visiting Mount Titlis. We ventured into the mountains to discover Mount Titlis, a peak over 3,000 metres high. We rode the Rotair cable car, the world’s first revolving cable car, which gave us panoramic views of the Swiss Alps (from what the fog let us see). At the top, we enjoyed the snow, walked the Titlis Cliff Walk, the highest suspension bridge in Europe, and explored the ice cave. On the way back to Zurich, we stopped in Lucerne, a medieval city with a charming atmosphere. We visited the Kapellbrücke, a wooden bridge covered with 17th-century paintings, and the Löwendenkmal, a lion monument commemorating the deaths of Swiss soldiers during the French Revolution. What we liked most: The order and architecture of Zurich. The panoramic and almost otherworldly views from Mount Titlis. The charming and lively atmosphere of Lucerne.
