Afghanistan, 1987. The Mujahideen receive a new weapon from the Americans – portable anti-aircraft systems “Stinger”. This threatens to eliminate the long-established aviation advantage of the Soviet installations. The Main Intelligence Directorate is preparing an operation to capture another batch of “Stingers”. A group under the command of Major Okovalkov is operating at one of the USSR military bases in Afghanistan, tracking down and destroying Mujahideen caravans. These fighters are tasked with capturing a caravan of trucks transporting secret weapons to the enemy base. According to information from a trusted source, the caravan is carrying only a couple of samples and is not equipped with serious security. When leaving on a mission, Okovalkov does not even suspect that the information he received is false, and the enemy's plans include not only saving the weapons, but also capturing the major himself.#film#cinema
