About :

We show you how to install the appropriate plugs depending on the material of the facade (concrete, wood or metal) and whether the insulating panels are rigid or semi-rigid. http://www.bricocrack.tv. Construction Tutorial Insulating facade Installing SATE SATE fixings Hanging loads on SATE. All the plugs, screws and accessories that we use in this video are from Index A Perfect Fixing. On the Index website you will find more information about these SATE fixings and you can download the technical sheets: https://www.indexfix.com/lp/es/fijaci.... If you want to buy the AIS-C fixings ONLINE, click on this link: https://amzn.to/3MEPStt. (Our links to Amazon do not carry any surcharge and we obtain a small commission from their sales). The electric hammer that we use in this tutorial is from Worx, more information on their website: https://www.worx-europe.com/es/. The work clothes, gloves and footwear we wear are from Tomás Bodero Group: https://tomasbodero.com/es/. Here you can see the catalogue of each of their brands TB, BeeWork and Cerva: https://tomasbodero.com/es/content/ma... At Bricocrack you have a tutorial where we install a SATE step by step with the Beissier system. This system uses rigid panels but, as there are more formulas, we want you to know which are the mechanical fixings that you should use depending on the type of insulation you are going to install and the material you have as a support on the façade. So that you can see it better, we have built models with the different possibilities combining rigid and semi-rigid panels with solid and hollow supports. And, if you already have a SATE installed on your façade, but you do not know how to hang elements on it, the second part of the tutorial is dedicated to the plugs that we use on the SATE to hang light, medium and heavy loads. All the fixings and accessories for SATE that we show you in this tutorial are from INDEX A Perfect Fixing and we have the support of their Technical Assistance Service for their implementation. Juan begins by explaining where the fixings should be placed and how many depending on the height of the façade. The first plugs he shows you are the AIS ones that are used with all types of rigid insulating panels. When they have a plastic nail they are called AIS-C and, when they have a metal nail, they are called AIS-S and have a plastic cap on the head of the screw that reduces the thermal bridge. Juan is going to show you how to install this AIS plug and how it expands both in hollow and solid supports. The electric hammer we use is the 20V from Worx. If you are going to work on concrete, you can use the AIS and AIS-M plugs that are directly attached to concrete, without the need for a nail. When the panels are semi-rigid, such as rock wool panels, we look for the appropriate AIS anchor for the support and we complete it with an AIS-R distribution washer (for AIS panels that have nails) or AIS-AM for AIS-M panels, metallic AIS panels. What happens when the support, the façade, where we want to fix the SATE is made of wood or metal? Well, we use a special screw for wood or a self-drilling screw, if it is made of metal, and an accessory called AIS-W, which is a pressure rosette with a plastic cap. We introduce the screw through the rosette, screw it in and cover it. This cap prevents oxidation and thermal bridge breakage. If we are working with semi-rigid panels, such as mineral wool, it is also compatible with this AIS-W anchor to use the AIS-R distribution washer. And, finally, what do we use to hang light loads on the SATE panels? If the panels are rigid, the TE spiral anchors from Index are ideal. They are installed quickly, without prior drilling, and prevent the thermal bridge from breaking. When the panels are not rigid or the loads are not light, we have to arrive with the anchor to the façade that is the one that will support the weight. The best solution for these cases are the T-NUX anchors from Index. We hope you find this tutorial useful.
