This time, I'll be taking a walk around Sano City, Tochigi Prefecture. Sano City is known in the Kanto region for its Sano Yakuyoke Daishi temple, featured in a New Year's TV commercial. It's also a popular spot with a huge premium outlet mall and easy access from Tokyo, as it's close to an interchange on the Tohoku Expressway. It's also home to a popular gourmet food, Sano ramen, and is a town that draws visitors with great potential, becoming very crowded on weekends.
