In this new falseta #4 SOLEÁ, I present a simple falseta to introduce us to a song or dance por soleá. As you know, when playing por soleá in accompaniment to singing, the beat is stretched and contracted depending on the intention of the song, as in our guitar solos, creating that “bubble gum” effect, unlike the playing por soleá for dancing that does follow a strict meter in the 12-beat bar. That is why I present this falseta in free and fixed beat at 100 bpm. Although it is true that in the case of soleá for dancing, the rhythm would be much slower, around 60 or 70 bpm. This new series of videos COMPLETE FLAMENCO GUITAR COURSE is made with the intention of sharing one or more falsetas of each flamenco style and palo. In principle they will be simple, short and classic falsetas, although I also intend to share falsetas of a more intermediate level of each flamenco style. If you need the score or tablature, do not hesitate to write to me at [email protected] I hope it helps you with your repertoire. Thank you very much.
