A rare phenomenon in November, frost! Today it was the case. When polder ditches and lakes freeze over, great white egrets react immediately. They prefer to sleep in safe open water. You can trust the Biesbosch with that. Due to the tidal action and the current, ice rarely forms. During my evening visit I also had a mighty encounter with a sea eagle! Frosty days in winter are one of my favorite moments in the National Park. Don't forget to subscribe or like! See you soon!
