Today I was exploring the Southwestern Delta. Along the Hellegatsdam (the well-known N59 if you are traveling to the beach..) are the Hellegatsplaten. An extensive mudflat and rough area in the corner of the Krammer-Volkerak and next to the Haringvliet. Last summer, several sea eagles stayed in this area. It is an important area for moulting birds, many fish species and large groups of spoonbills. This VLOG was made independently for the first time with a smartphone and edited by myself.
