We went to Amsterdam to look at the various ferries that GVB Veren has at the invitation of Edwin who works in the technical department. The nice thing is that you can see how the techniques are developing from what we have known for a long time, the diesel direct drive ferries, to the fully electric ferries. They also have several that are hybrid, so if you want to see that, take a quick look at the video.
