The Church of Saint-Martin in Saint Martin aux Chartrains (Calvados) The remains of a herringbone structure, sculpted modillions and a few bays indicate the medieval origin of the building. The high altar, decorated with Corinthian columns and surmounted by a cut pediment, may date from the time of Louis XIV.
