In Potsdam, the capital of Brandenburg located right next to Berlin, there are 7 tram lines, serving 30 kilometres of routes. The trams stop at 129 stops, and the entire network is served by one tram depot in the south of the city, connected to the only bus depot - operated by ViP. Mainly two types of trams run on the tracks - 17 Siemens Combinos and 18 Stadler Variobahns. Double sets of high-floor Tatra trams are also being launched as peak reinforcements - similar designs were recently disposed of in the nearby capital of Germany. The city has already signed a contract for more brand new trams, which are to replace the outdated Tatras. This will be a new design from Stadler - the TramLink model. Next year, the fleet will be reinforced by 10 such vehicles, along with their maintenance by the manufacturer for a period of 10 years. The contract allows for the extension of the order by another 15 units. 92 Bisamkiez - Kirschallee 1. Bisamkiez 2. Magnus-Zeller-Platz 3. Waldstraße/Horstweg 4. Kunersdorfer Straße 5. Sporthalle 6.
