Today's story that Tang will tell you all is about a murder case that happened in our ASEAN neighboring country, Indonesia. In May 2024, a horror film was released in Indonesia called "Vina: Sebelum 7 Hari" (pronounced Veena-sebelum-tuju-hari) or if translated into Thai, it would mean "Vina before seven days pass". The story tells about a young girl named Veena who falls victim to violence by a motorcycle gang in Cirebon City. But her death was mistaken for a normal traffic accident. Veena then returns as a ghost to reveal the truth behind her death. This film is based on the real murder case of Veena and her boyfriend that happened in 2016. After the film was released, the case became a hot topic nationwide again. To the point that the Indonesian police had to reopen the case to track down the culprit who was still at large. And what created even more of a buzz among netizens was the audio clip from eight years ago of Veena's girlfriend, in which she was "possessed" by Veena's spirit. And she told the story of the night of the incident in detail, including the murderer that the police still haven't caught. What is the whole story? What happened to Wina and her boyfriend? And did the victims who died not receive justice until their spirits had to come back to solve the case themselves?
