A production: Tell me a Story for Jornal do Centro. Aldeias com História (currently in Season V) is an online television program produced by the production company Tell me a Story for Jornal do Centro. The objective is to take the public to the heart of Portugal's villages. We want to know how you spent time in these villages, how they reinvented themselves and how they look to the future. The narrative unfolds as we visit the village, showing the points of interest and the economic activities that support it, always accompanied by the locals. We highlight ancient knowledge, while showing the best of the region's tourist offerings (gastronomy, hotels, cultural activities and groups, etc.). A program made of real people and stories. Each episode has a maximum of 35 minutes and is conducted by Cátia Aldeagas. Várzea de Calde: a village woven in linen Várzea de Calde is one of the six villages that make up the parish of Calde. For many generations, flax has been sown, produced and worked on in an artisanal way. ???????????? Our meeting with the weavers was love at first sight, visiting the Linen Museum made us travel back in time. We tasted the flavors of the land, the roasted veal and feijoada in a wood-fired oven, at the Rouxinol restaurant, in Calde, with the sounds of tradition surrounding the entire program.????????
