The speaker, Prof. Dr. Stephan Schilling, is head of the Department of Drug Biochemistry and Therapy Development at the Fraunhofer Institute for Cell Therapy and Immunology. He is researching new drugs to combat Alzheimer's disease in Halle. In his lecture, Prof. Dr. Schilling explains which approaches are currently being pursued in research and assesses the possibilities of how we can combat Alzheimer's disease in the future.
