Unprecedented measures were taken at the beginning of the consideration of the criminal case of a guy who, standing up for a girl beaten by migrant workers, caused a pogrom in the latter's dormitory. As we reported, the conflict occurred at the end of June. Drunk migrant workers from Uzbekistan, who work at the Pavlovsk poultry farm, began to harass a married girl in a cafe. After she refused, the drunk migrant worker hit the girl twice. The Pavlovsk guys stood up for the girl, Nikita Nogtev broke a tooth in the fight near the cafe, but the migrant workers ran to the dormitory, shouting threats as they went, according to eyewitnesses. Nikita Nogtev and his friends went to sort things out in the dormitory, he himself picked up a piece of galvanized water pipe to intimidate, one of his friends took an airsoft machine gun. At first, the drunk guys broke into the dormitory, then the guard himself opened the bolt and let the guys in. And they continued the pogrom inside. The police arrived, stopped the hooliganism, and after questioning the guys, they sent them home. A couple of days later, Nikita Nogtev was invited to the police for additional questioning and arrested there. According to a statement received from the head of the security service of the Pavlovskaya poultry farm, the city-forming enterprise of Pavlov, he was kept in a pretrial detention center for 5 months. At the same time, the relatives of the arrested man were outraged by the fact that no investigative actions were being carried out, the guy was simply sitting in a pretrial detention center. When we arrived at the hearing in October where the preventive measure was being extended, it was clear that the police investigator insisting on the arrest was completely unfamiliar with the circumstances of the case and could not answer questions on the merits of the case at the court hearing, but insisted on the arrest. And this arrest was extended. At the same time, the same migrant worker who beat up the girl in the cafe continued to work calmly at the Pavlovskaya poultry farm. And the girl who wrote a statement about him to the Pavlov police was denied initiation of a criminal case in July. Moreover, the lawyer asked the police to at least question this girl so that the root of the conflict in the criminal case of Nikita Nogtev could be investigated, but the police said that they could not identify this girl beaten by migrant workers, although I repeat, she filed a statement with the police in the summer and was refused. After our story at the end of October about this situation, events began to develop very quickly. First, the head of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, demanded that the case be transferred to the Investigative Committee, but the Pavlovsk police did not do this, but sharply accelerated the investigation. Literally in a few days, investigative actions were carried out, which had been expected for 5 months. Nikita Nogtev was charged under the article hooliganism part 2 and the case was quickly transferred to court. And so, the consideration of the case on the merits began in the Pavlovsk court. Security measures were strengthened around the court, police patrol cars were deployed, in the court itself Nikita Nogtev was escorted by five police officers, as well as special forces. The judge of the Pavlovsky Court prohibited filming the trial, so we only managed to take a few shots. We cannot show you the speech of the migrant workers who suffered in June, of whom there were 14 in November, but here is a story about this trial from Nikita Nogtev's mother and his lawyer. #Nizhny Novgorod #by the way, our telegram channel is https://t.me/kstati_nn
