Appearing for the first time in front of the Minister of Education and his officials, Vice President Gibran firmly gave a speech without any text criticizing the old Minister of Education and the zoning program & curriculum in front of the Minister of Education officials including the heads of departments throughout Indonesia who were present. According to Vice President Gibran, he had written to the old Minister of Education but there had been no response until now regarding the complaints of residents which according to him should have been resolved quickly as someone who had been Mayor. Vice President Gibran has experience in dealing with the dynamics of residents regarding schools and teachers. According to him, in the future there must be a Teacher Protection Bill. He also highlighted the zoning program which according to him was good but needed to be discussed further. Likewise, regarding the National Examination or UN which was abolished by Minister Nadiem, according to Vice President Gibran, this needs to be evaluated whether it is appropriate or needs to be returned to its original state because this also concerns quality. In addition, Vice President Gibran also asked the Minister of Education to immediately coordinate with the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing so that damaged schools can be repaired.
