After more than a year, I finally managed to climb the Rigi Hochflue, which is 1699 m high! It is part of the Rigi massif and is the last peak in the series, right next to the Vitznauer/Gersauerstock, which is 1451 m high. The Hochflue can be climbed via three different routes. The first route goes over the east ridge (T4-T5) and starts at Egg; it is the most challenging of the three routes. The second route starts at Obergschwend, where the cable car and the car park (5.-/day) are located, and goes up an iron ladder that is more than 20 m high - this is the easiest route. The third route starts at the Zilistock from the south flank (T3-T4) and is equipped with wire ropes and iron, which makes climbing particularly exciting. I went up the iron ladder and down the south flank. A good tip: do it the other way around, then you will have more fun climbing! At the top, a breathtaking panoramic view awaits you as a reward. Once again, it was incredibly fun and I can recommend this tour to everyone. It's a great family outing, but you should be a bit of a walker! ???? As always, I'm attaching the route below. Have fun hiking!
