Vertical tillage technology is becoming increasingly popular among farmers. In this video, I will show how the Great Plains Turbo-Max unit or disc harrow for vertical tillage without moving soil layers works with two rows of 50.8 cm diameter turbo discs with a New Holland T8.390 tractor. The special concave shape of the Gate Plains Turbo Max turbo coulters, placed 19.1 cm apart in one row and overlapping, allows you to chop straw to a length of 9.5 cm. The toothed harrow ensures the replacement of plant residues with the soil and prepares the surface for sowing. The rear roller breaks up clods of soil, squeezes air out of the soil and prepares the surface for the work of the seeder.
