SUBSCRIBE TO THE CHANNEL AND ACTIVATE THE BELL SUMMARY: A very beautiful day. Departure from Forme di Massa d'Albe following the E1 path to the fork to take path 5 on the right. EXCURSION TIMES: 05:30 Departure from Rome 06:00 Meeting point: Tivoli toll booth 06:50 Magliano dei Marsi toll booth 07:20 Forme di Massa d'Albe (865 m). We park, get ready and start walking from Massa D'Albe 12:10 at the top of Monte Velino (2487 ​​m) 13:10 we start to descend 14:00 Croce di Vetta del Monte Cafornia (2424 m). We take path 7a. 16:50 Fonte Canale 17:30 to the car in Massa D'Albe. 18:00 We set off again by car. TECHNICAL DATA: Difference in altitude covered: 1622 m Total excursion hours: 10h20'. Distance covered: 21 km. Weather: extraordinary. IMPRESSIONS: Panorama: monotonous but beautiful on the way up. Magnificent at the top. You could see everything. On the way back, a breathtaking sunset at Fonte Canale. I had brought 3.5 liters of water and I did well because it was enough.
