#permaculture #vegetables #recipe My dears, this is how I make vegetable stock, enclosed in frozen pancakes. Veggie stock cubes Ingredients: 4 carrots, 3 parsley roots, 1 large celery root, 2 onions, 2 leeks, 2 stalks of celery, a few cloves of garlic in their skins, lovage (a few stalks or a tablespoon of dried), a dozen black peppercorns, a few grains of allspice, 5 bay leaves, about 10 cm of turmeric, 1 tablespoon of oil (vegetables can be pre-fried in oil, I didn't do it in the end), 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 liter of water, a bag for spices. Preparation: Peel the onions (leave the skins) and roast them. Peel the vegetables, cut into pieces and put them in a pot. Put onion skins, garlic cloves in their skins, bay leaves, peppercorns, allspice in a bag and place in a pot. Pour in water, add lovage and simmer for an hour. Add soy sauce. Cool the broth and mix or blend. Prepare trays, flat baking tins, line them with baking paper and put blobs of broth on them with a large spoon. Place in the freezer. The next day, transfer the blobs to the bag – they are frozen “loosely”. When you feel like having hot broth, just take the blob out of the freezer, pour boiling water over it and add salt to taste.
