The novel tells about the tragic events of the Russian-Ukrainian war through the eyes of a soldier of the Azov regiment. The main character is a twenty-eight-year-old young man who loves his country, strives for a new destiny for it and tries to do everything for this, even risking his own life. The book raises questions: who and why is prolonging the war, why the best are dying, why local residents consider their liberators enemies, how our hero sees the future of the homeland.
