Top chefs Björn Freitag and Ali Güngörmüş create dishes that represent Germany and Turkey. Today it's going to be light and delicious! Ali is preparing a Börek variant, while his colleague Björn is serving stuffed zucchini. And the fusion dish is spontaneous, sweet and super tasty. Ali Güngörmüş is preparing the Turkish specialty Börek, which is traditionally rolled like a cigar or layered like a casserole. But the top chef's visually appealing version is open, like a burger: the freshly baked and sliced bun is filled with vegetables and shrimp, and rounded off with feta. Björn Freitag's menu includes stuffed zucchini with soft wheat, goat's cheese and parsley pesto. And to make sure the third dish is truly multicultural at the end, the two chefs spontaneously create a German-Turkish fusion dish from the leftover ingredients. That's no easy task, because they're only allowed to use six ingredients. But one thing is certain with this cooking duo: It will be simply delicious! Ali Güngörmüş is the child of a guest worker family and was the first and only chef born in Turkey to receive his first Michelin star at the age of 30.
