After passing the Conca della Rocca Marsa????️ you arrive in a magical place of springs???? at the foot of the Ciapa Liscia. You cross the Valle Tribolata forest, paying attention to following the white and red signs on the trees. This way you reach the Valle Tribolata characterized by spires, pinnacles and enormous rocky debris that evoke a scenario from Dante's Inferno.⛰️ It is a valley of underwater volcanic origin, born from an ocean that was between two continental plates. We continue towards Groppo Rosso along path 197. Groppo Rosso has two beautiful panoramic points where the view opens up to 360 degrees and especially on Santo Stefano D'Aveto. At this point you can return towards Passo del Crociglia and finish the trek or... Continue towards Rifugio Astass and Rifugio Prato Cipolla.???? A steep climb follows along the ski slope that leads to the summit of Monte Bue.???? The ski lifts and Rifugio Monte Bue are usually open when it snows and on summer weekends. From Monte Bue I decide to follow the path that leads to Dente delle Ali (the alternative is to return towards Prato Cipolla and shorten the route). At Dente delle Ali you will find Bivacco Sacchi. We continue down towards Fontana Gelata⛲ where you can fill your water bottle with fresh water. At this point, follow the signs for trail 011 towards Groppo Rosso, heading towards Rifugio Astass and Passo del Crociglia. In order not to take the same route as the outward journey before reaching Rifugio Astass, follow the path on the right towards P.sso Crociglia so as to pass to the other side of Ciapa Liscia. Before reaching Crociglia, on your left there is a beautiful cave where the statue of the Madonna has been placed????. You then reach Passo del Crociglia after just over 14 km and a 700 m climb.
