About :

The Gervasutti Bivouac, built in 2011, is a modern structure located in Val Ferret near the Fréboudze Glacier that replaces the previous bivouac from 1966. The video describes and documents the climb to the bivouac from Lavachey. The route, classifiable as F or PD depending on the conditions (definitely F in this video), involves climbing two steep equipped sections but with a difficulty no higher than II. Equipment: helmet, harness, screwgate carabiners, cord or sling, boots. Crampons and ice axe in case of icy snowfields.
