Francisco Mora, a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Oxford and a PhD in Medicine from the University of Granada, is a professor of Physiology at the Complutense University of Madrid. An international reference in Neuroeducation, he is the author of a legendary work in this field: 'Neuroeducation: you can only learn what you love'. Professor Mora highlights the importance of emotions in learning and explains that everything we think, feel and learn is the result of our brain in constant interaction with our body and the environment. In his latest book, 'Neuroeducation and reading: from emotion to understanding words', he analyses the relationship between the brain, reading, language and emotions. He claims that reading is “the great revolution” that has transformed the world, crossing geographies, cultures and bridges “because it is born from the human need to communicate and share with others”. For him, the magic of reading lies in the fact that each human being creates a unique and unrepeatable world in the written words: “What the writer has written has a meaning that is renewed and evoked, again, in a different, universal and unique way, by each reader”, he concludes. #Let'sLearnTogether
