Uttar Ramayan - EP 15 - Ram reaches Mithila to console Queen Sunayana. Sita's friend's heart-rending anger. Sita's mother Sunayana falls ill due to her departure to the forest. Taking permission from Guru Vashishtha, Ram goes to Mithila to meet her. Queen Sunayana becomes elated on hearing the news of her son-in-law's arrival and orders to welcome him. Flowers are showered on Ram and Lakshman at the entrance of the palace. On the orders of Queen Sunayana, Sita's friend Chandraprabha also showers flowers on Ram, but a continuous stream of tears is flowing from her eyes. When Ram passes in front of her, she turns her face away. Ram pauses for a few moments, but after reading her feelings, he moves forward. The ailing queen gets up from her bed and performs Ram's aarti with trembling hands. A maid supports her. Ram tells her that he apologizes for the pain he has caused her. Sunayana says that it is not his duty to apologize, but the girl's family's. King Janak tells Queen Sunayana that Rama has come to console her and to get her condolences. Janak says that Rama's pain is more than his. Lakshmana is witness to every moment of this. He stays with his elder brother every moment, leaving his sleep just like in exile. Later, while resting in the guest room, Rama praises Queen Sunayana's generosity to Lakshmana, when Sita's friend Chandraprabha arrives there with the Queen's message. Seeing her, Rama tells her to tell him what is in her mind. Rama says that he had seen the anger on her face at the entrance of the palace. Rama tells her that she is Sita's close friend, she has full right to express whatever anger she has in her heart for the pain caused to Sita. Chandraprabha bursts into tears at this. She says in a choked voice that the people of Mithila are the girl's family, they have no right to say anything but she will write on all the walls of Mithila that the people of Mithila should never marry their daughter in Ayodhya, they cannot respect her. Saying this, Chandraprabha leaves from there. Ram understands her pain. The next day Ram and Lakshman go to Queen Sunayana to bid farewell. Ram requests her to come and stay in Ayodhya for some time so that he can get her loving shade like a son. Queen Sunayana emotionally agrees. King Janak takes Ram and Lakshman to the temple of his family deity and there he gives the basic mantra of life that both the Shukla Paksha and Krishna Paksha of the month come in life.
