It is important to note that this is a diesel training vehicle, where it is often necessary to use a slipped clutch when turning in slow, second gear. On a gasoline vehicle, even tight right turns can often be solved with a released clutch, since the clutch is released at idle when turning at a slower speed, which creates a stable connection between the wheels and the ground... this is especially important in winter road conditions.
