I finally got to know this wonderful place, full of natural beauty and fantastic animals, yes! I'm talking about Ushuaia, a city located in the extreme south of South America, more specifically in Patagonia. Ushuaia is a very touristy city where you can find several restaurants with delicious and cheap food and little shops where you can find several souvenirs to take home with you and your family. An interesting fact about this incredible city in Argentina is that Ushuaia is located in the Tierra del Fuego archipelago and is known as the "End of the World". On this adventure, we were able to do several tours, such as boat rides, where we can get closer to penguins and sea lions, wonderful animals! Who has never wanted to see these animals up close hehe? Another adventure is the train ride, which is known as the Trem Fin del Mundo (End of the World Train). An interesting fact about this train is that it was built by Ushuaia prisoners, that's right! The prisoners were taken to cut wood and collect materials for construction. The next stop is Laguna Esmeralda, which is a lagoon with very blue waters that lives up to its name, because in the summer the colors really shine! And to get there you have to go trekking, which would be a long walk through the forest, an adventure full of mud in the summer and lots of snow in the winter. I know it's a long walk of 10km, totaling 4 hours of trekking, two hours to go and two hours to come back. It seems crazy, but I'm sure you won't regret it after seeing Laguna Esmeralda.
