What surprises will a used Mitsubishi Outlander bring? We look into the pros and cons of buying a used Mitsubishi Outlander crossover. Years of production – 2012–2022. Restylings – 2014, 2015, 2018. Secondary prices – from 1,000,000 to 4,000,000 rubles. It has good engines and a fairly strong suspension. But the body and interior are not very durable, and the CVT raises more questions than we would like. The best choice is from the rare three-liter examples with a regular automatic. ENGINES European versions with a 2.2 turbodiesel (150-180 hp) are almost never found here. All engines are only naturally aspirated gasoline engines. The most common is the four-cylinder 2.0 (146 hp). Its larger brother, the 2.4 l (167 hp) of the 4B12 series, is half as popular. A three-liter V6 (227 hp) is rare. And the hybrid version with a derated 2.0 engine (121 hp) or a 2.4 engine (128 hp) turned out to be practically unclaimed. DRIVE AND GEARBOXES The V6 engine is paired with a classic six-speed automatic Jatco. "Fours" are only equipped with a Jatco CVT. Front-wheel drive versions can come with both four-cylinder engines. All-wheel drive versions have an electronically controlled clutch to connect the rear axle. The Sport version with a V6 engine also has a front cross-axle differential with an electronically controlled lock.
