In our Colombian accusatory criminal system (Law 906/04), articles 347, 393 and 403, paragraph 4, establish the bases for using interviews, previous statements, those made during hearings, to challenge the credibility of a witness. In this video conference you will be able to understand a little of the technique or method that lays the foundations for the development of the oral trial. On this occasion, I am using as a guide the book Volume III, by the Office of the Public Defender of Colombia, National Directorate of the Public Defender, on this interesting subject. I hope it serves as a reference and good luck in the trials. I recommend the movie A MURDER ON SUNDAY MORNING, so that you can appreciate the opening statement, the direct examination, the cross examination, the objections and finally the closing statement.
