Music • Intro - Wontolla - Are You With Us • Outro - Area_Code_51-Hook_City Today, before you, another issue of the "Chases" section, in which we tried to collect the most unusual situations, filmed both by cameras on the dashboards of police cars, and by news helicopters flying out to the chase area. This means that kilometers of roads, ambiguous dangerous situations and much more await us ahead. Los Angeles, California is the second largest metropolis in the United States with its own population of about 4 million people. It is also the core of a vast metropolitan area spread across five counties. The cities that make up Greater Los Angeles are home to a combined population of over 18.7 million people. And if a big ship needs a big voyage, then the huge city gets a corresponding number of various illegal acts that occur here every day. At approximately 3:20 p.m. on March 9, 2021, in the immediate vicinity of one of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department offices, located at 21695 Valley Boulevard in Walnut, a traffic conflict occurs: the driver of a red Nissan Sentra deliberately rams the car of the second participant several times. Eyewitnesses report this to department employees, who are trying to find and stop the suspect. But sometimes chases develop even more unpredictably. We remain in Los Angeles County, this time finding ourselves in the skies above it on February 4, 2021. Around 8 p.m., sheriff's department officers responded to a call about a domestic violence-related kidnapping in one of the southern suburbs of the metropolis. When they found the suspect's car, he decided to hide from them, and a chase began. At some point, a passenger left the sedan - LASD (LASD) does not comment on her role in the incident. It is only known that the woman did not receive any injuries. Soon, the agency stopped the ground pursuit due to the dangerous driving style of the driver of the white Charger. The department's air patrol, as well as several helicopters with TV news crews, remained to monitor his movements. And again, a few issues later, the Arkansas State Police await us. The agency, created on March 19, 1935, to monitor compliance with alcohol and traffic laws, has expanded its scope of responsibilities to include mostly law enforcement functions with jurisdiction throughout the state. One of these remains the protection of traffic safety on the highways, for which the Highway Patrol, which is part of the agency, is responsible. We go to Crawford County and the outskirts of the small town of Mulberry , where fewer than 1,700 people live. At approximately 10:30 a.m. on December 4, 2020, on the section of Interstate 40 passing here, a Highway Patrol officer stops a black Chevrolet Impala. For some reason, the sedan's side windows are also spray-painted to match the body color. As backup, another state police officer, James Ray , arrives at the scene of the suspicious vehicle stop. As he approaches the sedan from the passenger side, the Impala takes off. We stay in Arkansas with the state police - this time we go to the outskirts of the city of Springdale, located at once in two northwestern counties, Washington and Benton (Springdale, Washington & Benton counties, AR). Its population more than doubled in the twenty years between the 1990 and 2010 censuses, providing a workforce for many enterprises located in Springdale, including the headquarters and production facilities of one of the world's largest meatpacking companies, Tyson Foods. The southern exit at the 76th interchange of the 49th federal highway. On April 5, 2020, traffic safety is ensured here by State Police Officer Alan Aiken. The radar he uses records the excess of speed of a black BMW with California plates. With the speed limit here of 70 miles per hour, the device records almost twice as much speed of the sedan - 125 miles per hour. Friends, This is where today's issue comes to an end. It was interesting to tell you the stories that made it into it, but even more exciting, shocking and educational situations await us all in the future. We are open to your ideas and suggestions, which, whenever possible, turn into new videos of regular columns and special editions. Thanks to all those who have just started or have been watching Pro-Polis for a long time, and are interested in the work of law enforcement agencies together with us. The project group on VKontakte, the page on Patreon and the profile on Instagram are always open for you, where you can while away the time until the next edition. Well, that's all for today, good luck to everyone!
