Welcome to my latest update on the Carola Bridge in Dresden! After the partial collapse of the Carola Bridge, clearing is taking longer than planned. The demolition concept has been adjusted because the position of the parts in the Elbe is more unstable than originally assumed. To support the work, a dam made of large stones is being built to serve as a construction road. The stability of the remaining bridge sections will be assessed in mid-December. In this update, we show the work to build a dam, which will then serve as a construction road to advance the further demolition of the Carola Bridge.
