After a wonderful night by the rushing glacier stream in the Buertal, our route first took us to Odda, at the end of the Hardangerfjord. We continued through the 11 km long Folgefonn tunnel to Bondhus and then hiked to Bondhusvanet and Bondhusbreen. Continuing to follow the Hardangerfjord, we passed Vøringsfossen along the Hardangervidda scenic route... The Norwegian Hardangervidda scenic route runs between Eidfjord and Haugastøl, is 67 km long and reaches 1250 m above sea level.
