After telling you about my essentials, here is the list of all the things I didn't use with my first child and that I wouldn't buy for baby #2. It's not easy to see clearly in all this marketing around the arrival of a child, especially during the first baby. Between the desire to do well and the anxiety of missing something, we often let ourselves be fooled and we buy a lot of useless things. When we also want to get off the beaten track (free movement, carrying, co-sleeping, washable diapers, Montessori room, etc.) we come to doubt and buy what everyone else buys. Here is a small selection of objects frequently present on childcare lists that I did not buy or that I did not use (because yes, I also bought more than I needed for my first baby ????).
