About :

Duisburg –Hamborn and Surroundings Alevi Cultural Center - Cemevi members attended the Birlik Cem with their Turkish delights. The intense participation of the young people in the Cem, where the love of the road is transformed into a semah, was met very positively by the souls who united their hearts in the Cem. The Duisburg –Hamborn and Surroundings Alevi Cultural Center - Cemevi Faith Board used the following expressions in a short written statement regarding the Birlik Cem: ''Yesterday we became a CEM, all SOULS became one in our Birlik Cem. First we were pleased with our Dede, then with each other. We swept our souls, washed them, and became pure. We purified ourselves from grudge, hatred, and ambition and became light. Women, men, young people, children, old people, rich, poor became equal and became SOULS. We shared our Turkish delights, we were pleased with our rights. In our Cem, we called on HIZIR for help for those in trouble and difficulty. We were enlightened by the light of God, we became God with God. May the services of our souls who sacrificed, shared food, contributed and supported, and worked in our Unity Cem be accepted by God. May Hızır always be their friend and helper. With love.
