To the rescue, a slightly dilapidated and very neglected radio cassette player. In addition, the device had been poorly repaired before: the mechanics were faulty, the VHF was in disarray, the telescopic antenna was damaged, the engine was seized, the head was out of adjustment and a few other minor faults. The casing had probably not been dusted since it was new!
