Fernandinho Beira-Mar was arrested in 2001 in Colombia and, even after 16 years in prison under intense surveillance, he continued to expand his criminal business and maintain his power in the drug trafficking world. See images that show how Beira-Mar, in solitary confinement in the maximum security prison in Porto Velho (RO), gave orders through notes that were passed to the cell next door by a line and soon reached people he trusted in Rio de Janeiro. Domingo Espetacular also shows behind the scenes of the major police operation that ended with the arrest of the criminal's family members.
