Actors Masaaki Uchino (56), Masaki Okada (35), Rina Kawaei (29), Aoi Morikawa (29), Takenori Goto (41), Shusaku Kamikawa (31), Seina Suzuki (37), Miki Maya (60), Yukiyoshi Ozawa (50), and director Shinichiro Ueda (40) appeared at the premiere screening of the film "Angry Squad: Civil Servants and the Seven Swindlers" (released on the 22nd) held in Tokyo on the 7th. This is the latest work by Shinichiro Ueda, director of "One Cut of the Dead". The main characters, Kumazawa, a diligent tax office employee played by Uchino, and Himuro Makoto, a genius conman played by Okada, team up to begin a mission to swindle a large sum of money from Tachibana (Yukiyoshi Ozawa), the president of a huge company suspected of evading taxes to the tune of 1 billion yen. Director Ueda, who directed "One Cut of the Dead!" This film is a serious project that had been in the works even before the release of The Golden Lion. It is based on the Korean drama My Ex-Boyfriend is a Genius Swindler: The 38th Mobile Brigade Division, which became a hot topic in Japan and starred Seo In-guk, Soo-young, and Ma Dong-seok, and is based on a screenplay (co-written by Iwashita Yuko) that also incorporates director Ueda's own originality.
