There is a hidden Chinese restaurant with extraordinary cuisine near Ratchada called “Fuk Yuan Krua Ahan”. This is because the owner, “Chef Johnny”, is a real Hong Konger who has been in the Chinese food industry for a long time. He used to work at large hotels in Hong Kong and famous restaurants in Thailand for over 40 years. The menu of this restaurant is traditional Hong Kong-style Chinese food. The signature menu items are all clay pot dishes. The “Clay Pot Rice (Po Zhai Fan)” has a crunchy texture that is fun to chew. It has a texture similar to rice crackers, and is perfectly balanced with the salty and sweet Hong Kong soy sauce and fragrant Hong Kong Chinese sausage. The “Hong Kong Roast Pork” uses fatty pork belly or pork belly. Grilled to a slight char, caramelized, with a sweet and juicy honey aroma, “Stir-fried Eggplant in a Clay Pot” uses a high-heat stir-frying technique, with a fragrant wok aroma. The eggplant is sweet and juicy when bitten into the “Guangzhou Chicken” or shredded chicken, with crispy yellow skin and soft, chewy meat that is easy to chew. It has a fragrant aroma of Chinese spices that they marinate until it seeps into the meat. Dip it with Sichuan chili and Sriracha chili sauce.
