Starting from the municipality of Cesara (499m) in the province of Verbano Cusio Ossola, we make a nice circular tour passing by the crosses of Cesara and Nonio (with a panoramic view of Lake Orta). We skirt the lakes of Nonio and then go up into the woods towards the centuries-old umbrella beech tree (Fo' dl'umbrela in the local dialect). On the way back we pass through two mountain pastures and finally on an asphalt road towards Cesara.
