In this video, we will learn about one of the most ambitious projects in modern aircraft engine construction. The Rolls-Royce Ultrafan is a project to create a new generation engine family, initiated by the British company in the mid-2010s. The project is based on the ongoing Advance3 program, which consists of updating the current Rolls-Royce Trent family with the introduction of a number of new solutions. The Ultrafan, being a continuation of the Advance3 program, involves further development of technologies.
