What is the highlight of the gastronomy of the city of Goiás? - This Sunday, the gastronomy of the state of Goiás is the protagonist of the new episode of Boa Sorte Viajante. You will get to know the typical dishes of three cities and their different recipes, in addition to a multitude of good memories. Pequi, guariroba, alfenim, cagaita and pau a pique are just some of the many delicacies characteristic of the cuisine of Goiás. Are you curious to try these delicacies? Continuing on to our destination, we arrive at the beautiful city of Caiapônia, which stands out in livestock and soybean production. In the rural area, we found pequi, a fruit typical of the cerrado and a staple in Goiás cuisine, used in the preparation of Dona Erenilda da Silva's galinhada com arroz de pequi. Another delicacy from the region is the gueroba palm heart, also known as guariroba palm, produced by Loyane Alves, a specialist in delicious homemade preserves and jellies. Our second stop was in the city of Goiás, the former capital of the state, where we met chef Aloísio Godinho, who went to study gastronomy in Italy at the age of 25 and combined his European knowledge with his roots. The chef prepared pork ribs with the combination of gueroba palm heart and pequi, a true combination of flavors. To sweeten the palate, confectioner Dona Sílvia Curado, who keeps alive the tradition of alfenin cookies of Arab origin, produced delicious treats that Matheus could not miss. In the city of Pirenópolis, one of the oldest in the state of Goiás, we arrive at the Fazenda Vagafogo Wildlife Sanctuary, where chef Uirá Ayer welcomes visitors for a brunch, which is a delicious mix between breakfast and lunch, with the highlight being the cagaita jelly, a native Brazilian fruit found in the Cerrado. Our last stop is at Fazenda Babilônia, which preserves more than 200 years of history and is the ideal setting for an afternoon coffee. Among the delicious recipes is pau a pique, a delicacy of indigenous origins, made from cassava and wrapped and baked in banana leaves. #Goias #Goiás #Cuisine ===================== WHO IS MATHEUS BOA SORTE?
