Patreon, Almuzara and Amazon, you can search for me as Victor Aguilar-Chang ------------------------------------------------------ Hello, at the beginning of World War II, the German naval strategy was to launch itself to cut off the Allies' supply lines in the Atlantic, but at the beginning of the war Germany only had two dozen long-range submarines to carry out this enormous task. But they were not enough, and the pace of construction of these ships began, but only after three years, by the month of October 1942, Germany finally had 110 operational submarines in the Atlantic. And that number of submarines was indispensable, because the Allied defenses had become tougher to deal with, both due to the increase in their number and in their quality. And then, in May 1943, a huge defeat for the German submarine fleet occurred. A response was necessary, and so, the Type-XXI submarine project came into play, a ship with a great number of improvements, but which was never even remotely close to winning the war for Germany.
