We invite you to the latest edition of TVŻ, and in it: The extraordinary session of the Żyrardów City Council is behind us. It was related to the case of the citizen patrol that passed through the city on September 21. That afternoon, a group of several dozen people gathered in the center of Żyrardów near the church to demonstrate their own understanding of the protection of Polishness and to ensure safety. There was an attack on foreigners. Yesterday's session was a debate on the event and the issue of the safety of all residents. For three days, from September 27 to 29, Senioriada 2024 took place in Żyrardów. As part of it, a ceremonial session of the Senior Council and a conference devoted to their needs were held. There was also a dance party, where crowds of guests of the event had fun. In addition, seniors could boast of their numerous talents by taking part in an artistic review. There was no shortage of good humor and ideas for further events. We return to the forty-fourth anniversary of NSZZ Solidarność. On this occasion, on September 22, a ceremonial celebration took place in Żyrardów. It began with a Holy Mass in the Church of Karol Boromeusz, followed by a march to the Monument of the Road of Poland to Free Nations, where flowers were laid. The Women's Pulley Strike is ahead of us. Lucjan Krzysztof Chrzanowski - Mayor of Żyrardów, invites you to the event, together with the Filip de Girard Linen Museum. A reenactment recalling the events of 1883 will take place on October 5 at 4:00 p.m. on Żakardowa Street. It commemorates one of the first and largest workers' uprisings in the Kingdom of Poland initiated by women. Almost 150 residents and friendly reconstruction groups will play the roles of workers and manufacturers. The Open Day at the Kazan Dog Shelter in Żyrardów is this coming Sunday, October 6, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The program includes: Joint walks with dogs and cats; Expert advice on animal care and health; Handicraft workshops and competitions for children, Free microchipping and a raffle with prizes.
