This makes it easier when sending the documents, and you will be sure that you are sending the correct documents. If possible, name each one with its corresponding name. Talk to your doctor and check which one of the CIDs that entitle you to free travel, which one you fit into. STEP BY STEP 1- Register, or log in, if you already have a registration, on the SPtrans service website: https://atendimento.sptrans.com.br 2- Make an online request (click on, +New service / Person with disabilities / Special Single Ticket (PCD) – 1st copy or renewal / Next. 3- Accept Terms and conditions 4- Send personal documents (first step of sending): ID card front ID card back (each in a different file) Proof of residence 3x4 photo on a white background (The photo file can have a maximum size of 10mb) 5- Download the form (it comes already filled in with your data) and take it to the doctor to fill out, detailing the ICD with a brief description of the disability and limitations. 6- Send documents related to the disability (second stage of sending documents) Form filled out, dated and signed by the doctor Exam reports, documentation, referring to the ICD filled out on the form. Check at: https://www.sptrans.com.br/busca-cid ADDITIONAL INFORMATION You will receive an SMS and/or email confirming that the documents have been sent. If everything is correct, they will arrive at the registered address within 20 business days. If you need any more documents, or if any of the information is incorrect, you will receive an email informing you of the additional documentation to be sent. This documentation can only be sent through the website in the customer service area at: https://atendimento.sptrans.com.br If you do not receive any email or SMS requesting more documents or information, this is a good sign. They only send an email if there is something wrong with the request/documentation. Since issuance can take a long time, try to renew as soon as possible. You can request renewal up to 60 days before your single ticket expires.
