About :

Mayra Castro tells how she transformed adversities in her academic career into success in her professional career. Director of the São Paulo office of swissnex Brazil, a Swiss institution for cooperation in education, research and innovation. She is a lawyer and holds a master's degree in European and International Law from the University of Geneva. She worked at the United Nations on projects related to nuclear disarmament and human rights education. At swissnex, she coordinates projects to foster partnerships between Brazilian and Swiss institutions, researchers, entrepreneurs, educators and artists, collaborating to increase exchange and mutual knowledge between the countries.
