The Považský Inovec mountain range is very close to us. Both heartily and geographically. Its character is very similar to the Little Carpathians, although a few hundred meters higher. There are beautiful peaks, meadows, castles, cottages and lookouts, and a trip to Považské Inovec is definitely worth it. We had been preparing for the highest peak of Považské Inovac for a long time, each of us had already been there several times, but we had never been there together. And it was time to change it :) We chose a winter day at the end of February, which rewarded us with very pleasant weather. The ascent is relatively undemanding, straightforward, there is not much where to get lost, no matter which direction you go. Below the peak of Inovec is the Inovecká hut, where you can eat or stay, and you can even reach it by car. And on the very top of Inovec, there is a massive, metal lookout tower high enough for one to enjoy the view on all sides of the world.
