In this video I pass through the Paraíba Valley and access the road that connects Cunha to Paraty, passing through a section of the old Rota do Ouro. The descent along the Estrada Real is very beautiful, but you must be careful, as there are few escape sections. In the case of the XMAX, which uses a CVT gearbox without the option of manual gear changes, the descent must be done after inspecting the brakes, as it is not possible to make constant use of the engine brake.
